On May 14th, 1935, Walker Tire was established by our grandparents, Claude and Myrtle Walker of Farmer City, Illinois. Forty-nine years later, in October of 1984, David Maxwell opened the second Walker Tire store in Clinton, Illinois. We are very proud to have offered Seventy years of great service through four generations of family, keeping with traditions but bringing new ideas and innovations for the future.
Stop by Walker Tire and let one of our Tire Technicians check your tires over for tire splicing before it is too late. Continued use of a tire with a visible tread splice in the same wheel position will cause the tread compound to tear downstream from the splice, forcing the tire to be removed from service.
